The Religious Education program (CCD) is provided for children in grades 1-8 who are attending public and non-Catholic schools, or who are home-schooled. They are instructed about their Catholic faith on Sunday during the school year from 9AM-10:15AM in St. Francis Hall. Read the CCD Information Letter HERE.

Registration forms for 2017-2018 can be downloaded HERE (Word) and HERE (PDF).

CCD provides assistance and support to parents in preparing children for the reception of the sacraments of Penance, Holy Eucharist and Confirmation, as well as ongoing Christian formation.

Protecting God's Children

If you are a new volunteer, working with children or youth in the parish, you must be fingerprinted through the Archdiocese of Washington and attend the single-session workshop titled Protecting God's Children in order to to volunteer. You may visit the Child Protection Policy of the Archdiocese of Washington to find more information and a current schedule of workshop dates and times. Workshop sessions are offered in both English and Spanish. The Office of Child Protection Services may be contacted at 301-853-5328.
